After a couple of weeks of rumours the Arizona Cardinals have finally stopped dragging their heels and have released Quarter Back Matt Leinart. They will now start the season with Cleveland Browns reject Derek Anderson who it could be argued is no better than Leinart. The Cardinals are lucky they have the easiest schedule in the NFC this season, and given this Anderson if he can recapture his 2007 form could do ok. However you cant help but feel that Matt Leinart has been treated shabbily by the franchise and by new coach Ken Whisenhunt who looked to have some sort of personal problem with the player. Hopefully someone will pick him up and he gan get his career back on track somewhere where he feels wanted.
