NFL Week 6

Dallas, Indianapolis, Miami, San Francisco are all on bye’s this week but plenty of interesting games:

Houston at Cincinnati – Both of these teams are in a better position than expected and this could be a good game. Houston have a promising offense but I was sufficiently impressed with how Cinci shut down Baltimore last week to give them the edge. I will go with The bengals to win by between 7 and 10 points.

Detroit at Green Bay – Although Detroit are improving and green bay are still lacking in defensive consistency I still expect the Packers to win what might end up as a shoot out. Green bay to win a high scoring game by 7-10 points.

Baltimore at Minnesota – This is going to be a cracking game 2 pro bowl defenses and the young pretender Flacco up against the old master Favre. This one really could go either way but I just feel that the Ravens will be smarting enough from the last two close defeats to put in the performance needed to scrape a win.  The Ravens by 7 or less.

NY Giants at New Orleans – Another great game in the making and again difficult to call. The giants are playing well both sides of the ball and the Saints are scoring for fun. I have to pick one so will go with the Saints at home for a narrow win by 7 points or less.

Cleveland at Pittsburgh  – The Steelers will win this one by 14-21 points.

Carolina at Tampa Bay – Neither team is playing well and I am not expecting a lot of points. I just give Tampa the edge by 7 points or less.

Kansas City at Washington – KC will win a game sometime this year but I dont think it will be this week. The Redskins by 7 points or less

St. Louis at Jacksonville – The Rams are really bad this year and I think there dismal run will continue especially as the jags will be fired up after last weeks debacle against the Seahawks. Jacksonville to win by 10 points +

Arizona at Seattle – If Seattle are still as banged up player wise then they will struggle to beat the Cards who showed a lot of mettle in last weeks win. I will go with the Cardinals by 7 points or less.

Philadelphia at Oakland – The eagles will win easily against the hapless Raiders probably by 14 points +

Tennessee at New England – Tenessee will win a few games this year but not this one and will drop to 0-6 meaning their play off hopes are practically over. I expect a narrow win for New England by 7 points or less.

Buffalo at NY Jets – Can Buffalo continue to play as badly as they have been? Probably not but then again they would have to improve a lot to beat the Jets. I will Give the Jets the edge by 7 points +

Chicago at Atlanta – Another great game in the making and again could go either way. I just give the edge to Atlanta by 7 points.

Denver at San Diego – Is this where Denver finally get a loss in the column – probably is my vote and I predict a 10 point win for San Diego.
