Up until last week the Wildcats looked like a team on a mission, however when they faced their first true task of the season they came up short losing 58-17 to Oklahoma. However they were in this game for most of the 1st half and their second half collapse was somewhat uncharacteristic of a team which has won a lot of game s with determination and big plays.
This weekend they face the No3 Oklahoma State Cowboys, who have not quietly moved into the no 3 rank. If Kansas State could pull off a shock here then there is still an outside chance of them featuring in one of the big Bowls, however we feel that their lack of true talent has been exposed finally and although we will as neutrals keep our fingers crossed for them, we cant seen them winning this one , and sadly a season which promised so much could end with them missing out on a top 25 BSC ranking.
