The New York Jets have secured the services of Pro Bowl Center thanks to a big money deal which could see him pick up a maximum of $55 Million over 7 years. This was a must do deal for the Jets who will face stiff competition in the AFC East this season and Mangold is one of the few centers who is truly capable of handling the big nose tackles so prevalent nowadays in the 3-4 defensive systems.
Now all the Jets need to do is sort out the Revis situation so they can concentrate on their final preparation, which is already suffering from the HBO Hard Knock’s intrusion.
