Oklahoma finished the stronger to beat a stubborn Florida State 23-13 thanks in no small part to their pounding ground game, which set up the late game securing field goal.
In a game where defenses were largely on too, it was the Sooners runners who made the difference gaining a total of 111 yards against the Seminoles 27.
In the game the Sooners let 13-3 at half time but Florida battled back and tied the score at 13-13 with just over 9.30 to play. However Oklahoma finished stronger and a TD and a field goal ensured that their fans will remember the game for more than Landry Jones beating Sam Bradfords Passing yards record. If Jones stays fit he should set a near unbeatable Sooners yardage record this season.
