The NFL have given Stan Kroenke the go ahead to take full control of the St Louis Rams however they have imposed conditions which will mean him giving up his other sport franchises. He currently owns NBA team The Denver Nuggets and NHL side The Colorado Avalanche and must give up his majority stake in the teams by December 2014.
The Rams are not having a very good time at the moment being 6-42 over the last three seasons and with dwindling crowds there has been talk of them moving to a different city. However this decision makes a move less likely.
