Ok its only week 2 of the pre season, however one would have expected a little more from Michael Vick, who looked out of sorts against Pittsburgh last nigh as the Steelers beat Philadelphia 24-14. Michael Vick threw 3 first half interceptions, but redeemed himself somewhat with a nice tackle on Troy Polamalu who had just picked him off.
Interceptions apart the Eagles looked quite good on offense , especially in the second half when Mike Kafka came on. He was an impressive 14 from 19 and threw both the Eagles touchdowns both of which came in the last few minutes.
The Steelers coped well with an aggressive Eagles defense and overall don’t look likely to suffer a Superbowl losers hangover. Big Ben Roethlisberger looked composed and he finished his short stint on the foeld with a 140.6 rating.
In the nights other game New England continued to impress with a easy win over a very good Tampa side. Brady started and soon got off the mark with 2 first quarter TDs including one to Chad Ochocinco. Two BenJarvus Green-Ellis 1 yard rushing TDs completed the 1st half scoring as the Patriots ran up 28 unanswered points. The final score of 31-14 in no way flattered the Patriots who look ready to start the season now.
