Some crunch games this week and many will be close and hard fought. Not easy to predict some but here goes.
Washington at Dallas
Dallas slipped up at Green Bay last week and may find the Redskins just as awkward. This will be a hard fought game but I just give Dallas the edge by 7 points or less.
Cleveland at Detroit
One of these struggling teams have to get another win (it could be a Tie I suppose). They are both pretty bad but I think Detroit are slightly less bad and will win by 7-10 points.
San Francisco at Green Bay
The 49ers managed a decent win against the Bears but only thanks to Jay Cutler who was feeling seasonally generous and threw 5 interceptions. The Packers will not be so generous and will win by 10 points plus.
Pittsburgh at Kansas City
This should be an easy win for the Steelers by 14 points +
Atlanta at NY Giants
This is the start of a tough run in for the Giants with 5 of the 6 teams they face having winning records. If the Giants don’t win this one, they are probably not going to the post season. A tough one to call but its just the Giants for me by 3-7 points.
New Orleans at Tampa Bay
Tampa are improving – but not enough to beat the saints who are scoring a lot of points this year. I predict a Saints win by 7-10 points.
Buffalo at Jacksonville
Might be a close one but The Jags look too good for the struggling Bills who look destined for bottom place in the AFC East. The Jags by 7 points +
Indianapolis at Baltimore
Could this be Indy’s first defeat? They were a tad lucky against New England last week and I think that Baltimore’s Defence will shut them down this week in a narrow Ravens win by 7 points or less
Seattle at Minnesota
The Vikings will win this one with some ease on their way to the Divisional title. A Vikings win by 14 points
Arizona at St. Louis
Should be a fairly easy Arizona win by 10 points +
NY Jets at New England
The Jets season is fast coming apart thanks to some rather unexpected defeats. The Patriots will want revenge for the early season defeat and will get it by 14 points +
Cincinnati at Oakland
The Bengals all the way here against a very poor Oakland team who look a long way away from being a finished team. The Bengals by 10 points +
San Diego at Denver
This could be where the Broncos season really starts to falter. Defeat here will put The Chargers in pole position and leave Denver in a fight for the wild cards. I am afraid it looks like last season all over and expect a Chargers win by 7 -10 points.
Philadelphia at Chicago
Chicago surely can’t play as badly as last week but even a huge improvement won’t be enough to beat the Eagles who I expect to win by 7 points +
Tennessee at Houston
This is a big test for Houston who stand on the verge of making it to the post season finally (all the other 31 teams have been there). If they are to make it they have to win these divisional games and with some trepidation I will give them the edge by 7 points or less.
