An emotional LaDanian Tomlinson said farewell to The San Diego Chargers but vowed to carry on with his quest to win a Super Bowl ring before he retires. At 30 he still has a few years ahead of him in my opinion and I sincerely hope he follows in the footsteps of previous San Diego cast offs including Rodney Harrison who got 2 rings with The New England Patriots, Junior Seau who came close with the pats in 2007 and of course Drew Brees who led the New Orleans Saints to victory in Super Bowl 44.
The Chargers in my opinion are a bit too ruthless and this is costing them the success they so badly crave a point proven by the firing of Marty Schottenheimer in 2007 despite his excellent record in turning around the franchise including taking them to the play offs twice in 3 years.
