The Chicago Bears and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the yteams chosen to play in the now annual London game this year and what a game it should be with two tough defenses clashing.
Both sides are coming off of good wins, with the Buccs throwing the NFC South wide open again by beating the Saints, while the Bears kept themselves in touch in the extremely tough NFC North.
The Chicago defense has been uncharacteristically generous so far giving up a lot of yards and points, however they have faced some pretty high octane offenses and they did a good job against the Vikings last week so perhaps they are getting to grips with the play book finally after the off season turmoil.
Tampa currently head the NFC South, however they have failed to stamp their authority on any of their games this season with their biggest winning margin being 7 points against the floundering Colts. They had to rely on their defense against the Saints last week and their win was greatly helped by the three interceptions thrown by Drew Brees.
Although Tampa will start favourites this game looks extremely close, and given who the Bears have faced their 3-3 record is not as bad as it looks. They will also know that the Lions have a losable game against the Falcons so a win could throw them right back into the race for second in the NFC North.
Our hunch is that the Bears will take this one in what we hope is an exciting game.
