In an attempt to minimise the number of end of season no show games by already play off bound teams the NFL have decided to change the late season scheduling to include more divisional games, including all divisional games in week 17. This is an admirable attempt to stop teams fielding weakened teams once they have qualified which is not only unfair on the fans who spend good money to see the star players, but will ensure the final wild card spots, which often go down to the wire are not influenced. This is a welcome change and will hopefully ensure that every game in 2010 is played in the true spirit of the game.
