Pro Bowl Win Goes To The AFC In A Rainy Miami

In game where big defensive plays were thin on the ground the AFC just prevailed in a shoot out in Miami. Arron Rodgers once again showed his prowess with 197 yards passing and 2 touch downs while his NFC counterpart Tony Romo managed good yardage but threw an interception. Also notable for the NFC as quarter back Donovan McNabb being the top rusher with 26 yards from 4 carries.

This was not a day for rushing yardage and for the AFC Matt Schaub shone in the absence of the big name QBs throwing 2 TDs, the first to team mate Andre Johnson and then to Brandon Marshall. He finished with 189 yards from 13 completions giving a respectable 14.5 yard average.

Overall despite the light rain it looks like the decision to move the Pro Bowl from its usual time slot was a success, given the attendance figures for the game at 70,697 was the second-largest in Pro Bowl history, behind the 72,250 who attended the 1959 Pro Bowl. It remains to be seen if this change of time an venue becomes a permanent feature.
