The St Louis Rams were one of the surprise teams of the 2010 NFL season, thanks in no small part to having drafted Sam Bradford with the No1 pick. In 2011 they have drafted well adding some explosive pass rushing talent and also picked up Lance Kendricks who could turn out to be a Pro Bowl tight end in a few years. However even with potentially useful WR picks in Austin Pettis andGreg Salas we still wonder if they will have the firepower to challenge again in what will be a competitive if weak NFC West.
This is where a proven veteran Wide Receiver could help and despite there being a wealth of potential free agents to choose from, reformed bad boy Randy Moss could be a good fit given he will be available on the cheap as the Titans probably dont want him.
He is obviously no long term solution but given the Rams missed the top receivers in the 1st round this year they could use Moss for the 2011 season and then see what 2012’s draft brings.
