After capitulating towards the end of last season we expected some big moves from the Lions, however this one we didn’t expect. Detroit already have one of the leagues best go to receivers in Calvin Johnston and now they have added another potential game breaker in ex Seahawk Golden Tate, who is one of the games most reliable catchers of the ball. He was targeted 98 times last season and caught 64 of these, however the main thing for us was that he rarely dropped a pass he had a chance of catching. This will leave Matt Stafford somewhat spoiled for choice next season, and if their offensive line can buy him some time then the Lions will be an exciting team to watch in 2014.
