Washington Redskins have increased the average age of their roster by signing 38 year old Wide receiver Joey Galloway on a one year contract. Galloway played for The New England Patriots in 2009 although his appearances were restricted and he only managed 7 receptions for 67 yards. However he has had a solid career with Seattle Dallas and Tampa and will give Donovan McNabb a safe pair of hands to throw the ball to while they decide how their offense is going to shape up.
Wide receiver looks the weakest area for the Redskins going into the 2010 season and prior to Galloway signing only Santana Moss and Bobby Wade were experienced wide receivers, and neither are particularly prolific. I will not be too surprised if Terrel Owens or another experienced wide receiver joins before the season starts.
