Week 7 Predictions

Well after last weeks less than vintage performance I am looking to get back on track – which might not be easy given there are some tough looking games:

Green Bay at Cleveland – This should according to form and I expect the Packers to put this one away fairly easily providing they can protect Rogers. The Packers by 10 points+

San Diego at Kansas City – San Diego cannot afford another defeat at this stage if they are going to have any chance of making the post season. I was quite impressed with KC last week but this is a didderent proposition and I expect a Chargers win by 7 points +

Indianapolis at St. Louis – Indy are quietly getting the job done and could quite easily win the Superbowl this year. The Rams are going to struggle to get more than 1 win this year and it is not going to come here. Indy will win this one by 14 points +

Minnesota at Pittsburgh – The tough games just keep on coming for the Vikings and they will fancy their chances against the Steelers. This is a tough one to call but I am going with the Steelers to finally put a loss in Favres career in Purple.  Pittsburgh by 7 points or less.

New England at Tampa Bay – This could be unpleasant watching for the Tampa fans who are going to be playing in England for the first time in the Regular Season. I cant see any other result but a comfortable win for New England. Prediction The Patriots by 14+

San Francisco at Houston – This could be a close one but if Houston manage to reproduce last weeks form they will be far too good for the inconsistent 49ers. Houston by 7+

Buffalo at Carolina – Another tough one call not because they are good but because they are both quite bad and this can be awkward as it will depend on who can get up for the game. Carolina finally managed to run the ball last week and I think this will give them the edge. Prediction The Panthers by 7.

NY Jets at Oakland – A great performance by Oakland last week and a poor one by the Jets makes this an interesting one to call. Will the Raiders carry on with their new found form – Will the Jets bounce back form that disapointing defeat. Who knows but a prediction is needed and I will go with Oakland to win by 7 points or less.

Atlanta at Dallas – Atlanta looked good last week and I think they can manage to beat the Cowboys in their own back yard. Atlants by 7 points or less.

Chicago at Cincinnati – A big game for both teams with both coming off of losses. I just give the edge to The Bears as I think the Bengals may have flattered to deceive. The Bears by 7 points

New Orleans at Miami – The Saints are on Fire at the moment and should be far too good for the Dolphins who continue to use the Wild Cat too much for my liking. The Saints by 10+

Arizona at NY Giants – How good are the Cardinals this year ? Well we will know a whole lot more after this game. The Giants are always tough and I think they will be too strong tonight. Its the Giants for me by 7-10 points.

Philadelphia at Washington – Both are coming off of bad defeats and will want to bounce back. Despite the terrible performance at Oakland i think the Eagles are the better team buy far and they will win this one by 7-10 points heaping further pressure on Jim Zorn.
