Having lost running back Chester Taylor to divisional rivals Chicago Bears it looks like The Minnesota Vikings are considering taking LaDanian Tomlinson (LT) as back up to Adrian Peterson. Although nothing is finalised he is planning to visit on Thursday and with Thomas Jones having signed for Kansas City and Willie Parker probably going to Washington, LT is probably the best chance they have to get some depth back in the running back position without resorting to the draft.
LaDanian Tomlinson currently ranks 8th in the all time rushing rankings with 12,490 and at 30 still has plenty of yards in him yet. This couldbe one of the better free agency signings if it comes off.
